Ultra Red just released the last album in a series of compilations called "What is the sound of war on the poor?"
GitAr is on volume 4 with a track off their upcoming album, "Fallujah." Go here to listen to
Simply Buried
Description of track: "Simply Buried." This version of Chopin's "funeral march" has been developed over two years of live shows, as a sombre critique of the
war in Iraq and as an illustration of the feelings and images that the war inflicts upon the people of the world.
Listen to Volumes 2 and 3 to hear the tracks submitted by both I Cut People and Ellipse Elkshow.
Aside from that, it seems as though GitAr's album "Stuffed" might not get released July 14th afterall...

"The Inside Story" has been released. I'm excited, yet a little bummed upon noticing a typo in the artwork...
Apparently, I accidentally added an extra "u" in Grauman. I've met very few people who actually know what the Grauman's Chinese Theater is.
It's probably not that big of a deal. Either way, I apologize to those who
are fortunate enough to have visited this grand monument in Hollywood and know the correct way to spell it.
Anyways, the album has been released and I'm quite pleased with the overall look of it. It is definitely the best album
I've created so far.

I Cut People is going to be on Some Assembly Required!
An Awesome radio station/website/blog dedicated to cut up culture.
It should be posted some time at the end of November or beginning of December.

I CUT PEOPLE performing @ the insect carnival. Show starts at 9:00 on Sunday,
Aug. 31st. this set will be all new sounds from my upcoming movie album. The
album should be finished by next year. maybe sooner. after the insect carnival,
I plan on taking a break from performing, working mostly on performing live as GITAR
w/elkshow. My next show should be at the A street gallery in santa rosa next year.

first, i'm having some t-shirts printed up soon and will be selling a few on this here website.
i'm also in the process of getting high quality stickers printed up as well.

i'm in the process of starting another short album focusing on
cut_ups of movie scenes. basically, i choose a section of a movie and substitute silly words in to break
the main idea of the scene. we'll see how it goes. i might end up putting these on a new gitar album,
but i'm thinking of making at least 10 tracks focusing on this idea, so why not make another i cut people
album?
